In case you didn’t know, tomorrow is the National Day of Unplugging.
It is a 24-hour commitment (sunset on March 1 to sunset on March 2) to completely unplug. I’m going off the grid and I’m going to enjoy every second of it.
At one point in my life, this would have been very hard for me. And, I won’t lie, it will still be a little hard but I know this will be one fun and incredible 24 hours.
Let’s do this and tell me all about your adventures. After March 2, of course. I can promise you…you won’t regret one second.
Why am I unplugging?
- To play hide and seek with my kids.
- To enjoy the outdoors.
- To read.
- To have fun at a crawfish boil.
- To exercise.
- To savor my time with my family.
- To love.
- To be present.

Jessica,
I’m so glad I found your website! I recently started a year-long journey of mindful and intentional living. I am home with two small children, four and two and felt the need to be more present in a number of areas in my life (including parenting!) I cover a different theme each month and this month is ‘unplugging’ How fantastic then is it that March 1st was National Day of Unplugging! My unplugging commitment was to deactive my FB account for the entire month. Not easy but I think it will be great! I look forward to reviewing your past posts! Glad I found your site, it looks delightful!
Best,
Meg
