A year of bold moves, personal breakthroughs, and unstoppable growth.

What would happen if you gave yourself permission to dream big—and then chased that dream with everything you had?

That’s the question at the heart of the Be Courageous Project, a personal challenge and community movement I launched to inspire individuals to boldly step out of their comfort zones for one year. Whether your version of courage looks like launching a business, running a race, trying stand-up comedy, or simply saying “yes” to something you’ve always wanted to do, this project is your invitation to go for it.

What is the Be Courageous Project?

The Be Courageous Project is a one-year commitment to doing something brave, bold, or new—something that stretches you. It could be a single event or an ongoing effort. The idea is simple: pick a challenge that pushes you, commit to it, and lean into the journey. You won’t be doing it alone—there’s an incredible online community here to support and cheer you on.

And no, there’s no cost to participate—just your willingness to show up for yourself in a whole new way.

How to Get Started

1. Reflect + Dream

Use the Be Courageous Planning Guide to reflect on your dreams, goals, fears, and passions. What’s something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t yet? What would make you proud at the end of this year?

2. Choose Your Project

Flip through the Project Inspiration & Ideas list—you’ll find everything from climbing mountains to writing poetry to learning a new skill. Pick something that checks three boxes:

  • It’s new.
  • It builds a skill or stretches you.
  • It makes you a little nervous (in the best way!).

3. Join the Community

We’ve created a space where you can share, be inspired, and support others doing their own courageous projects. Join us in the Facebook group or follow along on Instagram for stories and updates.

4. Track Your Journey

You’re not expected to be perfect—just present. Document your wins, your challenges, and even your “fails” (which we lovingly redefine as First Attempts In Learning). The community thrives on real, honest storytelling.

What You’ll Gain

💪 Courage: You’ll stretch yourself and prove you can do hard things.
🎯 Focus: You’ll reconnect with what matters most to you.
💬 Community: You’ll be inspired by others and remind them they’re not alone.
🌟 Growth: You’ll walk away stronger, wiser, and more fulfilled.

You don’t have to wait for the “right” moment. That moment is now.

So—what will your Be Courageous Project be?
